Package the simple-audio-card and audio-graph-card drivers with their
shared utilities, the HDMI codec used by DRM bridges with an HDMI
audio path, and the Everest ES8316 codec.

The sound and DRM modules carry a dependency on audio-support and
video-support, which is what decides whether an image handles those
devices. The AUDIO_SUPPORT and DISPLAY_SUPPORT tokens beside them add a
second, per-SoC-family condition that a board cannot influence, and that
DISPLAY_SUPPORT is half derived from whatever kernel configuration was
copied into a target's fragment.
Drop the tokens from the module dependencies and from fbtest.

The audio group and the rule that puts the ALSA character devices in it
are part of procd and base-files, so every image carries them whether or
not it has a sound card, and a package wanting the group has nothing to
depend on. Playback, capture and MIDI all land in one group as well, so a
process allowed to play is also allowed to record.
Move the lot into a new audio-support package with three groups, audio,
audio-capture and midi, and a hotplug fragment that sorts the sound nodes
between them. kmod-sound-core depends on the package, and so do the image
profiles that ship a sound driver. The dependency is a plain one, not a
select, so sound support is offered once the feature is chosen; userspace
that needs one of the groups depends on the same package. Images without
it fall back to the generic rule and get /dev/snd/* as 0600 root:root.

| um: Fix hostaudio build errors
|
| Use "select" to ensure that the required kconfig symbols are set
| as expected.
| Drop HOSTAUDIO since it is now equivalent to UML_SOUND.
|
| Set CONFIG_SOUND=m in ARCH=um defconfig files to maintain the
| status quo of the default configs.
|
| Allow SOUND with UML regardless of HAS_IOMEM. Otherwise there is a
| kconfig warning for unmet dependencies. (This was not an issue when
| SOUND was defined in arch/um/drivers/Kconfig. I have done 50 randconfig
| builds and didn't find any issues.)
| [...]
The reason why this was not spotted is because of IOMEM. We would need
to have a device that requires IOMEM first and the obvious choice would
be VFIO_PCI. But none of the pci features are set for the UML target.

kmod-sound-midi2 expects sound/core/snd-ump.ko, but
CONFIG_SND_UMP=y builds it in-kernel rather than as
a module. Replace the forced built-in setting with
plain CONFIG_SND_UMP so the module can be packaged
correctly.

Dependency tracking for kmod-sound-hda-core is fragile. Enabling some sound
codecs (Realtek, Conexant, Sigmatel) implicitly adds a kmod-ledtrig-audio
dependency, while an enabled kmod-ledtrig-audio can be picked up through
enabling others (e.g. kmod-sound-hda-intel), and the behaviour can change
across kernel versions.
As kmod-ledtrig-audio is under 2KB, make it an unconditional dependency.

After kernel 4.9 has been removed, this removes all (now obsolete)
kernel version switches that deal with versions before 4.14.
Package kmod-crypto-iv is empty now and thus removed entirely.

This target is still on kernel 4.9, and it looks like there is no
active maintainer for this target anymore.
Remove the code and all the packages which are only used by this target.
To add this target to OpenWrt again port it to a recent and supported
kernel version.

This reduces the needed modifications to the mainline Linux kernel and
also makes the regmap package work with an out of tree kernel which
does not have these modifications.
The regmap-core is only added when it is really build as a module.
The regmap-core is normally bool so it cannot be built as a module in an
unmodified kernel. When it is selected by on other kernel module it will
always be selected as build in and it also does not show up in
$(LINUX_DIR)/modules.builtin as it is not supposed to be a kernel module.
When it is not in $(LINUX_DIR)/modules.builtin the build system expects
it to be built as a .ko file.
Just check if the module is really there and only add it in that case.
This splits the regmap package into multiple packages, one for each bus type.
This way only the bus maps which are really needed have to be added.
This also splits the I2C, SPI and MMIO regmap into separate packages to not
require all these subsystems to build them, on an unmodified upstream kernel
this also causes problems in some situations.

Fix audio not working due to unset SND_PCM_TIMER. CONFIG_SND_PCM_TIMER
is required for ALSA to work (at least for some audio devices),
otherwise applications using sound may fail. Can be reproduced by
installing "alsa-utils-tests" and running "speaker-test":
...
ALSA lib pcm_direct.c:1159:(snd1_pcm_direct_initialize_poll_fd) unable to open timer 'hw:CLASS=3,SCLASS=0,CARD=0,DEV=0,SUBDEV=0'
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1106:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to initialize poll_fd
Playback open error: -19,No such device
The kernel size does not increase, only the size of the kernel module
increases.
