The EAP1300 stores kernel and rootfs in a single 30464k firmware partition parsed by the FIT parser, which reads the kernel length from the FIT header at runtime. The image recipe does not pad the kernel, so the KERNEL_SIZE of 5120k does not correspond to any boundary on flash and only causes the build to fail once the kernel grows past it. IMAGE_SIZE was set to the remainder of the partition and was never checked, as the sysupgrade recipe does not call check-size. Drop KERNEL_SIZE, set IMAGE_SIZE to the full partition and check the combined image instead, matching the other EnGenius devices in this target.
