iface_setup() and hostapd_set_bss_options() write snoop_iface, the netifd network device, for every BSS. hostapd reads the option only in x_snoop.c, and hostapd_setup_bss() starts that code only for a BSS with proxy_arp. When the network of a BSS changes, the value changes, and hostapd.uc cannot apply snoop_iface to a running BSS: it replaces the BSS and every station on it loses its association: bss ap-mld1 changed in snoop_iface, replacing it Write snoop_iface only where proxy_arp is enabled. A BSS with proxy_arp is still replaced when its network changes, since the snooping sockets are bound to that device. Signed-off-by: Felix Fietkau <nbd@nbd.name>
