Subject: [PATCH] drop the tomlkit dependency
|

|
|
tomlkit is imported lazily by src/hatchling/cli/version/__init__.py and
|
|
is only reached by "hatchling version <new>", which rewrites a version in
|
|
pyproject.toml. The PEP 517 backend entry points never touch it, and the
|
|
feed packages hatchling only as a build backend, so the declared
|
|
dependency just blocks the host build.
